How to Deposit Money Easily using BDO Deposit Machine

Depositing cash in the bank usually takes time especially if there are also a lot of other people who are doing the same thing.

You really have to schedule your bank visit and have a lot of patience.

But, that was before I learned about BDO Deposit Machine.

My bank visits have been more convenient when I started using the BDO cash deposit machine and I get to save a lot of time and I can deposit money even on weeknights and weekends.

What is BDO Cash Accept Machine (CAM)?

BDO Cash Accept Machine o BDO Deposit Machine is a self-service facility that allows you to deposit cash anytime to a BDO Account without having to transact with the bank officer.

It looks like an ATM machine, with some similar functions like checking balance inquiry and doing other services options including changing the PIN and activating online or mobile banking.

How are they different from each other?

  • The ATM machine is for cash withdrawal.
  • The Cash Accept Machine is for cash deposit.

Why use BDO Deposit Machine?

Credited real-time

Just like depositing cash in the bank with the help of the bank officer or cashier, the money is credited immediately to the recipient’s account when you deposit money through the cash accept machine.

Transaction Slip

You also get a receipt or transaction slip after your transaction if you request it through the options on the machine.

Available 24/7

The best thing about the BDO Cash Accept Machine is that it’s available 24/7 for CAMs that are located outside the bank. You can deposit cash anytime, even beyond the usual office or banking hours.

However, for cash machines that are placed inside the bank, they may only be available when the bank is open.

Shorter Lines, Faster Transactions

And since not a lot of people know about Deposit Cash Machines, expect that there would be shorter to no lines at all when you deposit through the cash machines. Meaning, it would be much faster and convenient for you to do your transactions.

You don’t even need to fill out the deposit slip. Just go ahead and input the recipient’s account number, insert the cash, and it will be credited immediately once the transaction is successful.

Available in many branches

BDO Cash Deposit Machines are available in 400 in-branch and off-site locations in key cities and business districts nationwide.

How to use the BDO Deposit Machine

There are two ways to deposit money through the BDO Cash Accept Machine. It can be card-based or cardless.

1. Card-based Transactions

This requires an ATM Card. You need to insert the ATM card in order to do any of the following transactions.

  • Cash Deposit to Peso Savings/Checking Account or Cash Card
  • Balance Inquiry
  • Fund Transfer to Own Account and other BDO Accounts
  • Bills Payment
  • Prepaid Mobile Reload
  • PIN Change
  • Personal Online Banking Activation

To use this option, just insert your ATM card into the machine and follow the next instructions on the screen for your transaction. To deposit money, the cash slot will open and you will need to put your cash inside.

2. Cardless Transactions

This doesn’t require an ATM Card but you can still do any of the following transactions.

  • Cash Deposit to Peso Savings/Checking Account or Cash Card
  • Bills Payment (of billers not requiring enrolment)

This is a better option if you are depositing cash to another person’s account or paying bills. You just need to have the card number or account number of the recipient account.
