After opening a BPI bank account, the next thing that you should do is to enroll in BPI Online Banking.
BPI Express Online has great features that you should take advantage of.
One of these features that you’d love about BPI Online Banking is the ability to check your account balance online, anytime and anywhere you may be.
It’s really convenient to have a BPI Online Banking account because you don’t always have to find an ATM machine or to go the nearest BPI branch just to know how much you have in your BPI account.
Aside from doing BPI balance inquiry online, you can also transfer or send money to your own accounts or to 3rd party accounts online.
You don’t need to line up and wait for several minutes and even hours at the branch just to deposit money.
If you have enough funds in your account, you can easily transfer funds online in just a few clicks.
BPI Online Banking also allows us to pay our bills online. Yes, we don’t need to go to the merchant’s payment center to settle our electric bill, water bill, internet bill, or even our credit card bills.
We can do all that now with BPI Express Online.
And there’s more to BPI Online banking than what I’ve mentioned. But let me share with you first how you can get started in BPI online banking.
8 Steps to Enroll in BPI Online Banking
Step 1
Go to BPI Expressonline website by typing https://www.bpiexpressonline.com in your internet browser.
Step 2
Under Online Banking Login, click “Enroll now”
Step 3
Choose the type of account that you want to enroll to BPI Online Banking, then click Continue.
- ATM-based BPI, BPI Family Savings, or BPI Direct deposit account
- Passbook-based BPI or BPI Family Savings, deposit account
- BPI Europe account
- BPI Debit Card Mastercard
Step 4
Select your location.
- Within the Philippines – To activate enrollment to BPI Online Banking, you need to visit any BPI Express Teller ATM within 20 banking days.
- Outside the Philippines – To complete your enrollment to BPI Online Banking, you need to print, sign, and mail the duly accomplished form.
Step 5
Read BPI’s Internet Banking Service Agreement. Scroll the page to the bottom, then tick the box to confirm that you’ve read and agreed to the terms and conditions. Click Continue.
Step 6
Enter your Account Number, JAI, and choose the type of account – whether it’s a savings account or checking account. Click Submit.
Step 7
Fill out the EOL Registration Form.
- Nominate your BPI Express Online User ID and Password
- Enter your Personal Information
Review your information, then tick the box again to confirm that you have read and understood the terms and conditions of BPI Online Banking. Click Submit.
Step 8
A confirmation page will appear with the instructions on how to activate your BPI Online Banking enrollment.
How to Activate BPI Online Banking Enrollment
If you are residing within the Philippines, follow these steps to active your enrollment:
- Go to the nearest BPI ATM Machine
- Insert your BPI ATM Card, enter your PIN
- Select: Special Services > Activate Enrollments > Express Online
If you are residing outside the Philippines, you need to print, sign, and mail completely-filled out form.
How to Login to your BPI Online Banking Account
Once your enrollment has been activated, you may now login to your BPI Online Banking account.
To login, just follow these simple steps:
- Go to https://www.bpiexpressonline.com
- Click Online Banking Login
- Enter your correct User ID and Password
- Click Submit
You should be able to access your BPI Online banking account now. Normally, all your accounts under your name will automatically be shown on your BPI express online account.
If they don’t appear, you may add or enroll them manually together with other 3rd party accounts that you want to enroll.
You may also enroll your the merchants or billers so that when it’s time to pay your bills, you’re ready to do it online with your BPI online banking account.

One of the best things about the app is the ability to transfer funds to any BPI account without having to enroll them as 3rd party account.

Is BPI Online Banking Safe?
If you’re skeptical about being scammed or getting hacked, don’t worry because BPI uses security features and systems to protect its users from all those things.
Should you encounter any fraudulent issues with your bank account, contact BPI hotline 89-100 immediately.
Also, make sure to protect your account information by not sharing it to others. Don’t click banking related links on your email especially if they’re asking for your personal login and information.
Normally, the banks would could call you on the phone if they need to verify your info.
And lastly, make sure to log out from your BPI online banking account after doing your transaction. If possible, don’t access your account when using public WiFi or when you’re at the computer shop.
