How much would it cost to send money online with Ria Money Transfer?
Ria Money Transfer costs depend on the amount you are sending, the speed in which you send your money and the country in which you send to.
While the actual cost increases based on the amount of money you choose to send, the price per dollar decreases as you send more.
In terms of speed, you have three choices in selecting how to send your money:
- Bank account: Sending money through your bank account is the least expensive option but will take four business days from when you verify the two micro deposits Ria deposits in your account.
- Debit card: If you send money from your debit card, your transfer will be available in minutes.
- Credit Card: Similar to sending money from your debit card, credit card transactions will also be available in minutes.
How long would it take to send money with Ria Money Transfer?
The fastest way to send money with Ria is by debit or credit card. On average, the processing time for debit and credit cards only takes 15 minutes.
If you prefer to send money through your bank account, the processing time takes approximately 4 business days from when you are able to verify the micro deposits Ria will place in your account. This is because it takes time to verify with your bank account that the funds are in fact available.
The fastest way to receive money, on the other hand, is through cash pick up or courier delivery. Both options are dependent upon the payout agent or courier’s business hours. On average, cash pickups and courier deliveries are available within the same day.
NOTE: If a money transfer is flagged for review for security reasons, the processing time will take longer.
Other things that may slow down processing times include:
- A security review.
Security is Ria’s no. 1 priority, thus they want to ensure all money transfers are legitimate.
- Financial institutions processing times.
Timing may vary slightly depending on your bank.
