Are you having a hard time trying to log in to your BDO online account only to get this error saying “BDO Account Locked?”
Been there and I know it’s frustrating, but not anymore because today I’m going to show you how easily you can reset your BDO online account in 4 simple steps.
Are you ready! Let’s get to the steps…
Step 1: Login to your BDO Mobile app or go to bdo.com.ph
When you get the error, “Account is Locked”, just click RESET or click the button below that says, “Forgot Password”
Step 2: To reset your BDO Online Account, enter your User ID and click Verify.
Then, enter the last 4 digits of your BDO debit card, checking or savings account number.
Step 3: Enter your OTP or One-Time PIN sent to your registered mobile number.
Important: Make sure you still have access to your registered mobile number. Otherwise, you’d have to call BDO Hotline 8631-8000 to update your mobile number first or visit the nearest BDO branch.
Step 4: Enter your NEW Password and Confirm.
Make sure you follow the guidelines when creating your new password. You’ll see the green bar if your new password is okay.
Confirm your new password by entering it on the second box.
That’s it! You have successfully changed your BDO Online password and you can now login to your BDO Online account again!
Take note of your User ID and Password in a safe place or notebook so that you can easily find/access it when your BDO account gets locked again or if you forget your password in the future.

Account is Locked?
I tried to login to my BDO Online Banking Account today to pay our Meralco bill, but unfortunately, this box came up and it says “Account is Locked” and I’m not sure why.
How did it happen?
First of all, it was my first attempt to login so I’m sure it didn’t happen because I entered my username or password incorrectly.
The last time I logged in was about 2 weeks ago when I checked my account balance online.
I clicked the “Account is locked?” option below the red error message.
Then it asked me to enter my User ID, so I did.
On the next page, it said that a One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to my registered mobile number, which I need to enter to be able to proceed.
However, here’s the problem…
It was the old mobile number that was registered on my BDO Online Account, thus there’s no way I could receive the OTP anymore because that number is already deactivated.
So I immediately called BDO Hotline 631-8000.
I explained the issue to the customer representative and after the verification process, she told me that my BDO online account has been reset and I should receive a temporary password in my email, which I need to update as soon as possible because it’s only good for 72 hours.
I also requested to have my mobile number updated so I can receive OTP each time I login to my BDO online account. She said that it will be updated in 2 working days and I should receive the OTP by then.
Temporary Password
I received the email from BDOOnlineBanking-noreply@bdo.com.ph containing the temporary password for my BDO Online account immediately after I spoke with the customer representative on the phone.
I entered my User ID and temporary password and it went right in to the OTP page, but since I can’t receive the OTP on my new mobile number yet, I chose to answer the CHALLENGE QUESTION to proceed with the login process.
The Challenge Question is one of the 2 questions that we’ve chosen when we initially registered our BDO Online Banking Account. We have to make sure that we enter the correct answer to be able to login successfully.
Update Password
It then asked me to update my password and after doing so, it said that it was successfully changed and it went right in to my BDO Online Banking Account details.
Successful Login!
I logged out from my account and logged in again to make sure my new password is correct and it went through successfully.

ano po kaya maisasuggest nyo sa akin, matagal na po kasi akong hindi nakakauwi ng pinas, matagal na din wala at inactive yung mobile number na niregister ko.
naka ilang email na ako sa bdo at nakakatanggap ako ng computer generated reply na they will be contacting me soon,e sa tagal nung huling mag email ako hindi ko na maalala kung kelan pa un eh..hanggang ngayon wala pa yung contatcting you soon nila.
sana naman makatulong kayo, active naman yung account ko dahil sa monthly remittance ko. gusto ko lang sana ma-access online
Mas malala ung sa akin kasi hanggang ngaun inaanatay ko pa rin yung email ng temporary password ko pro wla pah rin…2 weeks na
I’m only using my mobile phone for my BDO online banking, the problem is that I lost my phone and I don know anymore the answers to the challenge question. Can you give me an advice what to do?
Paki ayos nmn po ung account ko nalocked dw dko maopen ubus lagi load balance ko sa katatawag sa costumer service ang tagal pa nila sumagot about an hour bago sila sumagot.dko na maopen ksi account locked dw pag tumatawag ako lagi sinasabi ok na maam but thesame parin d aq mkapag log in

Inubos lang nila lod ko. Wla naman clang toll free sa oman. Kakachange ko lng last month ng mobile number tpos di na naman ako makareceive ngayon ng otp. Kelangan talaga ulit ulit? Antagal kong naka-hold eh. Naubos lang load ko kakaantay ng available na agent.
Hi guys kapag ba locked ang online account mo hndi kandn ba makaka withdraw? Or hndi ka lang makakaaccess ng online services. Pls help, thnks
you can still withdraw pero di ka lang makaaccess sa online banking.

nalocked po ung bdo online banking ko paano ko po siya maaunlocked..
BDO is the worst online banking. I have the same issue. I withdrew all my money and deposited into BPI account. BPI is the best bank for online banking at ang bilis pag nakalimutan mo ang password or if you cannot login. Ang customer service nila madaling tawagan.

na locked din po ako sa bdo mobile banking. tanung ko lang po kung sa onlime lang ba locked yun pero sa atm machine okay naman po??kasi ang bagal itext ng otp na yan
Hi, BDO customer service. I’ve been enrolled ,activated five (5) times on my Individual account, but unfortunely, always invalid , unsuccesful or locked ..I also Reset and change my password, received OTP’s but alas, cannot log in to my individual account. I have two (2 accounts in BDO , Joint and Individual). I followed all instructions but nothing happen. Please help!!!
Nalocked yung account q. Ginawa q ung forget password and I entered the required infos kaso wla naman ng eemail skin from bdo. Tama nman ung user id q at email address.hai

May I ask po, wala naman po na nakalagay na “Account is locked?” so ang ginagawa ko po ay forgot password and it leads me to enter User ID and then last 4 digit account number but it says na invalid daw yung last 4 digit account number ko. What then should I do?
