SSS Online Registration is one of the best things an SSS member should actually try or do.
While some SSS members still go to the SSS branch just to check their SSS contribution, registering your SSS account online will make the process even easier and more convenient.
SSS Online Registration is a one-time process only.
Once you’re registered online, you should be able to login to your SSS online account, check your data, SSS contributions, apply for loan or check your loan status among other things.
So how is the SSS Online Registration done?
Here are some easy steps on how to register your SSS account online:
PHASE 1
- Go to https://www.sss.gov.ph, which is the official website of the Philippine Social Security System.
- On the right side of the page, you will see the Member Login area.
Assuming that this is your first time to register, you should click the button that says “CLICK HERE” under “Not yet registered to My.SSS?”
- Fill out the Online Member User ID Registration Form with the following information:
- CRN / SS Number
The CRN or Common Reference Number can be found on your UMID or Unified Multi-purpose ID.
It’s the same as the SS Number or Social Security Number which you can find in your SSS E1 form when you initially applied for your SSS membership.
You cannot proceed with the SSS Online Registration if you don’t have your CRN or SS Number yet.
In the past, the application for SSS membership to have an SS number is done at the SSS branch only.
This time, you can now apply for your SSS membership and get your temporary SS number online.

- Mother’s Maiden Name
- Address
- Contact Number

- Preferred Password
You will use the Preferred User ID and Password when you login to your SSS Online account to access your personal data and SSS contribution.
Take note of these information in a safe place so that it would be easier for you to find it in case you forget your User ID and password.
- For Self-Employed, Voluntary, Non-working spouse or Overseas Filipino Worker:
You will need to provide any RECEIPT NO. found on the RSS Receipt Form of SSS.
If you don’t have any Receipts, you might have to contact SSS directly or visit the nearest branch to verify your SSS membership and to be able to register your account online.
- For Employed or Household:
You will need to provide any 13-digit SS Employer ID/Household SS Number where you worked for at least six months.
For Employed, you may ask your HR Officer for your company’s Employer ID.
For Household, you may ask your employer for the Household SS Number.
- Read the Terms and Conditions and click the box to accept it.
- Click Submit
- Your SSS Online Registration will be validated by SSS. Validation process may take an hour to a few hours depending on the status of your application.
- After the SSS Validation process, you should receive a confirmation email from SSS regarding your successful SSS Website Registration.
Included in the email are your User ID and Password which you can use to login to your SSS online account.
